I wanted something to keep my prescription medicines organized and locked up, but all of the normal boxes intended for those purposes did not fit my needs. So I took a chance on the Ape Case, and I couldn't be happier!
The height of this particular case is perfect for prescription pill bottles. I can put about 30 prescriptions bottles in a case (5 rows of 6 across) which is quite a few. The case comes with padding on top and bottom which fills in the gaps for smaller bottles so they don't fall around when you pick up the case and move it. There's also padding that you break away to shape for the items you're storing so if you have fewer bottles to store, you can use the padding to fill in the gaps to keep things organized. This means you can label the lids, stand them up in the case, close the case, and then move it around without the contents getting jumbled around. When you open the case again, everything is just as you put it.
While the case comes with a key lock, the latches have loops which can be padlocked, if desired. I also like that it's metal and not plastic.
I looked all over for something to lock up prescription medicines, and I think this case is the best thing I've found. It's even better than the cases I've seen designed to lock up meds. It's the perfect size and offers a lot of flexibility of use.
